Data Concepts
Analytic work isn't just about the numbers. A set of tools spanning disciplines from source control to data modeling is also required to make Data Analytics a success. This 12 weeks program includes this supporting knowledge. Git Essentials will cover source control. You'll explore analysis with MS Excel. And you'll learn how to properly structure your data through data modeling.
Data Visualization
Being able to share valuable insights through visualization tools is an important part of data-analytic work. Learn to use the matplotlib library in Python for exploratory visualizations. Then when you are ready to present your work to corporate leaders, choose from either Tableau Desktop or Power BI Desktop.
Programming
Data Analysis has become a blend of math, data, and programming skills. During this 12 weeks course, you'll learn these programming related topics. SQL Query Programming is essential knowledge for data work. Python has become a de facto go-to for data-analytic work. After an introduction to Python Programming, you'll learn to use it for data wrangling by leveraging the powerful libraries of pandas, NumPy, and scikit-learn. You'll also practice collecting data straight from the web with Python's web scraping toolset, beautifulsoup.
